Real words from the families we've had the privilege of working with.
"We have been attending sensory motor class for 2 years now and it's the best investment I have made for our son who struggled with socialization. He made friends and has a great place to be himself and have fun while getting some great sensory input!"
"I took my son to The Kidz Lounge this morning for their Mommy and Me, and I must say it was great!! He had so much fun and the environment was super safe. I highly recommend their Mommy and Me!"
"The staff is all courteous and caring and experienced in the field of education and special education — their expertise lies in providing therapy and care to children with and without special needs! The environment is safe and nurturing and well equipped in all areas!!!!"
"She loved it. I loved the teacher and the small class size. She has anxiety issues and is extremely timid trying anything with kids she doesn't know — she was so excited and proud of herself after the class, it was so nice to see her like that. You are awesome!"
"Having Heather treat my son, Rocco, was nothing short of inspiring. She sincerely and truly wanted to help him and to help our family. Heather has helped to advocate for Rocco's needs and gave me endless guidance. She has become a friend and one of Rocco's greatest gifts."
Had a great experience? We'd love to hear from you.

A public program for infants and toddlers with developmental needs — provided at no cost to families.
The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a public program for infants and toddlers with special needs. Children with diagnosed conditions — such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, and others — are eligible for the EIP.
Children with no diagnosis who have delays in development may also be eligible if their delays are serious enough.
If you have concerns about your child's development, you can refer your child to the Early Intervention Program if you live in NYC. Someone else can help you make the referral if you wish.
If your child is found eligible, a personalized plan will be created for your child and family — in collaboration with you, the parent, and authorized by the county.
Early intervention services authorized by NYC are provided at no cost to you. Your child's health insurance may be used to cover some costs, and all other EIP costs are paid by your county and New York State.
The Kidz Lounge is approved by New York State and holds a contract with Queens and Kings County/NYC to provide special instruction, speech, physical, and occupational therapy early intervention services. We are proud to serve families in our community.
